The concept of “living well” or “sumak kawsay” in Quechua stems from the indigenous communities of South America. It beckons us to reevaluate our bond with the Earth, redefine our understanding of ownership, and consider our position among all living entities, and the equilibrium necessary to sustain life now and for generations to come.
